Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney has travelled to Spain for his medical with Real Sociedad, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Scotland international has been permitted to join the La Liga outfit on loan. They will cover his entire wages during the stint.
Tierney has now made his way to Spain and he is expected to complete his loan move once he undergoes his medical tests.
Sociedad don’t have an option to buy him next summer, but they plan to negotiate, suppose Tierney makes a big impact.
The 26-year-old had been a fringe player for the Gunners over the past year, and he now has the chance to redeem himself.
Tierney was also linked with West Ham United and Aston Villa, but he chose to join Sociedad due to Champions League football.
Apart from Tierney, the likes of Folarin Balogun, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Rob Holding, Cedric Soares and Nicolas Pepe are due to leave.
Arsenal are planning to make one more signing this summer.
