Chelsea defender Ian Maatsen is attracting interest from Manchester City and West Ham United ahead of the January transfer window.
The Dutchman was a key player in pre-season for the Blues but he has hardly started for the club since the beginning of the campaign.
The London giants accepted a bid to sell him to Burnley last summer, but Maatsen was adamant that he did not want to rejoin them.
It is now reported that Man City and West Ham are contenders to land his signature when the transfer window reopens in January.
Maatsen will enter the final six months of his deal this winter and the Blues are likely to cash in instead of losing him on a free transfer.
City are likely to provide Maatsen with a better salary package, but he could lean towards the Hammers for assured playing time.
David Moyes‘ side could be willing to pay around £20 million for Maatsen. Burnley reportedly offered around £32m for him last summer.
