Former Chelsea striker Timo Werner has decided against leaving RB Leipzig for Manchester United during the winter transfer window.
The German rejoined the Bundesliga giants from the Blues last year and fared well with 16 goals and six assists from 40 appearances last term.
However, he has had a difficult 2023/24 season with Leipzig. He had made just three goal contributions from 370 minutes of playing time.
A recent report claimed that Werner could consider a return to England with United, but this has reportedly been dismissed by Sky Germany.
They claim that Werner is not keen on moving back to the Premier League and is prepared to fight for his place at the German outfit.
Fulham and West Ham United have also been linked with Werner, who had a mixed run of fortunes during his short time with Chelsea.
Werner was guilty of missing several clear-cut chances in his Blues stint and also struggled to cope with the higher intensity of the league.
