Roma manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen on signing Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior on loan in January.
The Poland international joined the Gunners from Spezia for €25 million in January and he has only made a handful of appearances.
Kiwior is currently a back-up option in the squad but reports have claimed that he wants to play regular first-team football again.
AC Milan have also been linked with his services. It is now highlighted that Mourinho is keen on bringing the centre-back to Roma.
The Giallorossi have struggled to keep Chris Smalling fit and Mourinho is looking at a potential successor to the Englishman next year.
Kiwior has been identified as an ideal candidate by the Portuguese, but Roma are unlikely to afford a permanent deal this winter.
They are likely to propose a loan move with a buy option. It is highly unlikely that the Gunners will entertain the transfer offer.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta brought Kiwior to add depth and competition. With Jurrien Timber’s serious injury, he may not be allowed to leave.
