Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has sent a message to the fans following the 3-1 Premier League defeat at Arsenal.
The Dane made his club debut against the Gunners on the road. He came on in the second half and changed the dynamic of the game.
Hojlund’s physicality presented plenty of problems for Gabriel Magalhaes, but he could not find the back of the net for United.
Following the game, the 20-year-old said that he is proud to have made his debut for his dream club and United will look to bounce back from the defeat after the international break.
He said: “So proud to make my debut for Man Utd, the dream became a reality Unlucky with the result today, but we will bounce back after the international break.”
United have yearned for a physical striker up front and Hojlund should bring plenty of joy for them. He did not score today, but brought a sense of fear in the Gunners backline.
